Website visits and hosting
This section covers our public website and room-invitation pages. App data and optional app diagnostics are described separately below. The operator is identified in the Imprint. Privacy contact: kynect.games@gmail.com.
Our public website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich). The host processes IP addresses and technical request data to deliver the website and prevent abuse. Server logs follow the hosting account’s configured logging and retention settings. Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in reliable and secure delivery.
Cookies, browser storage and external links
We set no advertising or analytics cookies and load no visitor-tracking scripts, external fonts or embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are served with the website. No optional tracking is enabled by visiting these pages.
When you choose EN or DE, we save only that language under arcaneDiceWebsiteLanguage in this site's localStorage. It has no automatic expiry. Choose another language to replace it or clear this site's browser data to remove it. We read this setting to provide your requested language. This necessary preference storage does not require consent under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. A general acceptance of this privacy notice is not required.
Google Play and other external links contact the destination only when you follow them. Its privacy rules then apply. Invite codes are read from the invitation URL to display your room code. Copying it uses your clipboard only when you press the copy button.
Contact and your rights
If you email us, we process your address and message to answer your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f), our interest in responding). Our email provider is Google/Gmail. We retain correspondence while needed to resolve your request, then delete it unless statutory retention or legal claims require longer storage.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under Article 21 GDPR and complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or consider a breach occurred. Contact us using the email above. We do not use website data for automated decisions or profiling.

Wenn du EN oder DE auswählst, speichern wir ausschließlich deine Sprachwahl unter arcaneDiceWebsiteLanguage im localStorage dieser Website. Sie bleibt ohne automatisches Ablaufdatum gespeichert. Eine andere Sprachwahl ersetzt sie. Das Löschen der Website-Daten im Browser entfernt sie. Wir lesen die Einstellung für die ausdrücklich gewünschte Sprache aus. Dieser notwendige Präferenzspeicher benötigt nach § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG keine Einwilligung. Eine allgemeine Zustimmung zu diesen Datenschutzhinweisen ist nicht erforderlich.
Google Play und andere externe Linkziele werden erst beim Öffnen des jeweiligen Links kontaktiert. Dort gelten deren Datenschutzhinweise. Einladungscodes werden aus der Einladungs-URL gelesen und angezeigt. Nur wenn du die Kopiertaste drückst, schreiben wir den Code in deine Zwischenablage.
Kontakt und deine Rechte
Bei einer E-Mail verarbeiten wir Absenderadresse und Nachricht zur Bearbeitung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO bei vertraglichen Anfragen, sonst Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f: unser Interesse an der Beantwortung). Unser E-Mail-Anbieter ist Google/Gmail. Wir speichern die Korrespondenz bis zur erforderlichen Klärung und löschen sie danach, soweit keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten oder Rechtsansprüche eine längere Speicherung erfordern.
Du kannst Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung und, soweit anwendbar, Datenübertragbarkeit verlangen. Gegen Verarbeitung aufgrund berechtigter Interessen kannst du nach Art. 21 DSGVO Widerspruch einlegen. Du kannst dich bei einer Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörde beschweren, insbesondere an deinem Wohnort, Arbeitsplatz oder am Ort des vermuteten Verstoßes. Nutze für Anfragen die oben genannte E-Mail-Adresse. Wir verwenden Website-Daten nicht für automatisierte Entscheidungen oder Profiling.
1. Who This Applies To
This Policy applies to users of Arcane Dice on supported Android and iOS platforms and supported web browsers.
2. Data We Process
2.1 Local app data on your device or browser
- Game progress and autosave state
- High scores and game history
- App settings
- Daily challenge, progression, and local achievement state
- Locally stored purchase entitlement flags
In the web version, this data is stored in the browser's local storage and IndexedDB. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove or limit access to it.
2.2 Online multiplayer data (when used)
- Display name you enter for online rooms
- Room and gameplay state required for online matches
- Technical identifiers required by Firebase Anonymous Authentication
2.3 Global leaderboard data (when used)
- The display name and highest score for each standard game mode
- The anonymous Firebase identifier associated with this installation
- The server update time for each leaderboard entry
Daily Challenge scores remain local to the device and are not uploaded to the global leaderboard.
2.4 Purchase-related platform data
When you purchase or restore content, Google Play or Apple App Store processes payment-related data according to their own policies.
On Android, if you use the achievement sign-in feature, Google Play Games Services processes the platform account and achievement data needed for that feature under Google's policies.
2.5 Family web access
The private family web version uses Firebase Email/Password Authentication. It processes the sign-in email address and authentication/session data to restrict access and keep you signed in across normal PWA launches. The web version does not provide account creation.
2.6 Optional analytics and crash diagnostics
- No advertising: the App contains no ads and does not collect advertising identifiers.
- Optional Firebase Analytics usage events are collected only after you allow optional diagnostics in the App. These events may describe game modes, game progress events, purchases, online actions, achievements, tutorials, and technical errors.
- Optional Firebase Crashlytics reports are collected only after the same choice. These reports may contain exception details, stack traces, app version, device, and operating-system context.
- You can decline or later disable both optional collections in Settings. Core and online features remain available without this choice.
3. Why We Process Data
- To run core gameplay and autosave.
- To provide online multiplayer rooms, global leaderboards, and, when enabled by you, platform achievement synchronization.
- To restore access to purchased content.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To improve reliability and understand feature usage when you have enabled optional analytics and crash diagnostics.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process data based on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract (providing app features you request).
- Legitimate interests (service security, abuse prevention, reliability).
- Legal obligations (where required by law).
- Consent, where consent is specifically required.
5. Storage and Retention
- Local data is stored on your device until you remove it, uninstall the app, or use the in-app data deletion action.
- Online room data is designed to be temporary and is refreshed during active sessions.
- Global leaderboard entries remain until replaced by a higher score or removed by the in-app data deletion action. That action also removes your player data from online rooms, deletes leaderboard entries, and deletes the anonymous Firebase account created for these features.
- Firebase services process data according to Google Firebase terms and retention controls.
- Optional analytics and crash diagnostics follow Firebase retention controls and are not collected before your choice.
6. Sharing and Recipients
- We do not sell personal data.
- Online room information is visible to players in the same room.
- Global leaderboard display names and scores are visible to other authenticated App users.
- Data required for online play, leaderboards, achievements, and purchases is processed by service providers and platform operators, including Google Firebase, Google Play, Google Play Games Services, and Apple App Store.
- When enabled by you, optional analytics and crash diagnostics are processed by Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
7. International Data Transfers
Service providers may process data in countries outside your own jurisdiction. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those service providers.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- You can use offline gameplay features without online multiplayer.
- You can decline or disable optional analytics and crash diagnostics in the App's consent prompt or Settings.
- You can delete your data (including local data, online room/player data, global leaderboard entries, and your anonymous Firebase account) from the in-app Settings page.
- You can request support or privacy assistance at kynect.games@gmail.com.
- If GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Arcane Dice does not include ads or social feeds. If you are a parent or guardian and have privacy concerns, contact us at kynect.games@gmail.com.
11. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services for core functionality, including Firebase, Google Play Games Services on Android, and platform billing/review/update services. These providers have their own privacy policies and terms.
